They partner with a private holding company dedicated to the emerging cannabis industry, acting as an outsource CFO to private companies with revenues between $1 Million and $30 Million. Our client is a transactional CFO focused on companies in growth mode seeking growth capital. They also act as a multi-family office, providing direct investment due diligence and negotiating transactions and term sheets for families and individuals looking to invest in private placement transactions.Our client currently seeks a seasoned accounting professional within our growing organization. Develops systems to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts and defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.Utilizes QuickBooks.Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries.Maintains the general ledger by transferring subsidiary account summaries.Balances the general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.Maintains historical records by filing documents.Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Qualifications
Degree in accounting or equivalent experience.Proven work experience as a bookkeeper.3+ years of bookkeeping experience.Ability to meet tight deadlines.Ability to think quickly and solve problems.Punctual.Highly self-motivated.Energetic and a go-getter.Willing to go above and beyond expectations to complete the job efficiently.Additional Information
