Oct. 28, 2024Description:Your Mission:As an integral part of Lockheed Martin's Computer Incident Response Team (LM-CIRT), you will work in the Global Defense and Intelligence Mission Area within our Corporate Information Security (CIS) division. You will have responsibility for defending the enterprise against network intrusion activity originating from criminal and nation-state adversaries. You will focus on supporting effective execution of operational workflows, analytical completeness, enhancing tradecraft, and implementing resilient countermeasures.You will work within a globally dispersed team of intelligence analysts with the mission of defending the enterprise's computing assets. Our global commitment to diversity and inclusion reflects our values of doing what's right, respecting others, and performing with excellence.Basic Qualifications:Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance (US Citizenship required)6 to 8 years of experience in computer network defense or related fieldExcellent technical knowledge of large-scale computer network environmentsDemonstrated background using computer network defense tools, processes, and tradecraft.Experience in a broad spectrum of technologies including tap and aggregation, intrusion detection systems, security information and event management, and forensic tools.Demonstrated excellence in technical writing and communicationHistory of success scaling cyber initiatives in large-scale, globally dispersed, and highly collaborative environmentsDesired Skills:Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining custom detection capabilities using programming and development expertise, including Python, Shell scripting, and regular expressionsDemonstrated experience with in-depth security log analysisReverse engineering of malwareDemonstrated proficiency with SIEM and Enterprise Security technologiesExperience with Cloud technologies and servicesExperience developing host and network-based security technologies, machine learning algorithms, and working proficiency in detection platforms such as Yara.Knowledge of DoD SCIF, IC and related network security policies and environmentsCurrent active TS/SCI accessProficiency in Unix/Linux command lineCritical thinking aptitude in one or more of the following areas: practical cyber intelligence methodologies, development of custom intelligence techniques, uncovering targeted threat activity in large datasets, or subject matter expertise in applicable analytical areas (geospatial intelligence, linguistics, geopolitical intelligence, data science, etc.)Security Clearance Statement:

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per weekPay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $93,400 - $179,000. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:

Represented full-time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
