The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regulatory Reporting IT Business System Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations by managing and analyzing data using Adenza Controller View. This role involves working closely with IT and business departments to standardize financial statement preparations and presentations, ensuring data integrity and control, and providing timely and accurate submissions.
Responsibilities
Manage and analyze data to ensure compliance with financial regulations using the Adenza Controller view platform.
Participate in gap analyses and review deliverables, leading interviews, workshops, and questionnaires to engage with different data source owners.
Collaborate with IT and business departments to gather and analyze data for regulatory reporting.
Develop functional documentation for assigned exposure types, including process flows, user guides, and training materials.
Provide recommendations for improving data quality and integrity.
Define logical source to target data transformation rules and data quality rules by working closely with technology leads and subject matter experts.
Assist in the design and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades.
Participate in client engagement and own all business analysis responsibilities from a domain/business point of view.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones.
Assist in the solution of production problems/incidents within SLAs.
Develop practice capabilities and brand recognition by exercising thought leadership and participating in professional organizations.
Participate in PeopleCare activities; mentor and support less experienced Consultants.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years working in technology, consulting, professional services, or solution development within Banking & Financial Services.
Minimum 7 years of hands-on business analysis experience (requirements gathering, data analysis) and preparation of FRD/BRD.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
Skilled with Adenza ControllerView, with experience mapping new data and configuring regulatory reports.
Good knowledge of Capital Markets, Risk (Credit Risk, Financial Risk), and Regulatory reporting.
Understanding of financial regulations such as FRY 9C, FRY 14Q/M/A, Liquidity Risk Reporting, Basel III, CCAR/FR 2590 reporting.
Experience working in agile projects, using Jira, and creating user stories.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with ETL processes and tools.
