Summary:
Cook Children’s Medical Center – Prosper is actively seeking a full-time (.75 FTE) Pediatric Hospitalist pediatrician to join our new medical center in Prosper, Texas.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required.
American Heart Association BLS.
Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date).
Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for pediatrics.
Board certified/Board Eligible in their specialty area.

Designed with the child in mind, our newest campus, Cook Children’s Medical Center – Prosper, is uniquely positioned just 35 miles north of Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Our Prosper campus already includes primary and urgent care locations as well as a surgery center and endoscopy suite. The medical center, which opened in 2023, will make Cook Children’s presence and excellence even more convenient to families in a growing part of our primary service area.
Key highlights:
Joining more than 30 pediatricians and 18 specialty physicians who already support the Prosper campus.
Collaborating with specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, neurology and neurosurgery, pulmonology, psychology, sports medicine, and urology.
New construction of a 10-bed Emergency Department, 10 pediatric intensive care beds, 14 medical/surgical beds, two operating rooms, two endoscopy suites, an infusion center, and transport services via our Teddy Bear Transport program.
Infrastructure in anticipation of future expansion, with the shell space of two floors to accommodate additional inpatient beds at the medical center.
