This could include leading revenue management best practices for this $10B business, membership reporting and forecasting on the 1.8M members, projecting sales costs, and other financial controls around this dynamic and evolving business. This leader will have strong business acumen and technical skills to build a best-in-class function.More specifically, in this role, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for financial reporting and analysis functions for this dynamic business that could be aligned with membership, revenue, SG&A and risk adjustment. You will collaborate with stakeholders to align financial goals with business objectives, ensure accurate financial reporting, drive process improvements, and contribute to strategic planning and risk assessment.Responsibilities:Integrate inputs across functions to inform Individual market financial forecasts; example functions include Finance, Actuarial, Product and Pricing, Network, Risk Adjustment Operations.Manage senior stakeholders/partners and ensure full transparency on trade-offs being made across functions.Pressure-test key assumptions made in financial and accrual forecasting to ensure appropriateness.Identify root causes and sources of variations in P&L against forecast, across risk-adjusted revenue and cost (e.g., claims and risk score trends).Develop the organization's financial strategy, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization.Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports to senior management, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.Required Qualifications:15+ years of relevant financial experience.Track record that shows the ability to build sound financial practices in a cross-functional environment.Strong expertise in ACA Individual business; familiarity with ACA risk adjustment model and accrual forecasting.Ability to design action-driven financial reporting.Analytical capability to identify issues and develop creative solutions.Prior management experience developing and training staff.Communicate clearly and present appropriate levels of information to senior leaders.Professional and executive presence.Setting strategy and driving results.Strong leader in building teams, developing employees, and hiring exceptional individuals.Preferred Qualifications:Healthcare, managed care, or financial services experience.Overall P&L management and leadership with budgets, forecasts, financial analysis, trends, projections, and analytics.Development of plans and identification of risks and opportunities.Advanced degree in finance, accounting, actuarial or related field.Education:Bachelor’s Degree in finance, actuarial science, accounting, or related field.Pay Range:The typical pay range for this role is: $131,500.00 - $303,195.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
