Human Resources / TrainingSummary:Delivers brilliant guest service each day, each night and every time in-between by championing our 6 Xs Hotter Service Philosophy. Creates a welcoming, playful and thoughtful environment by overseeing the Human Resources functions. Provides statistical information, directs planning of employee functions and employee relations programs. Drives team to excel, meeting/exceeding financial goals and acts in accordance with corporate policies and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities:We are looking for those who celebrate culture, humor, wit, thoughtful and attentive service and team orientation. This position requires strong leadership skills by those who are not afraid to be imaginative or inspired. You'll need an ability to create a motivating work environment driving our Whatever It Takes attitude. Have a strong passion for excellence and guest service. A four-year degree or equivalent education/experience. Five years of employment in the Human Resources field including a generalist background and proven track record. Bi-lingual in English and Spanish required.Celebrate our culture of individualism, engagement, having fun and evolving the Wit experience for every guest every time.Represent the Wit hotel in a positive manner at all times.Administer the Wit training programs and encourage on-going development for employees and managers.Maintain benefit programs including PTO, medical, dental, vision, and 401k.Recruit and interview for open positions.Assist with FMLA, Leave of Absence, Short Term Disability and Worker's Compensation.Oversee and coordinate unemployment process.Counsel and facilitate employee relations issues.Establish and enforce necessary policies and procedures.Advise managers and employees on employment and labor related issues.Serve as a liaison between management and employees whenever appropriate.Plan, coordinate and execute employee functions reward and recognition programs.Exemplify the hotel's Standard Code of Conduct and all other regulations established by management and Employee Handbook.Lead the Wit experience as instructed by the hotel and restaurant leaders.Compensation:60,000 USD - 65,000 USD Per Year (Bonus)About the Company:A uniquely different hospitality company, SMASHotels relentlessly pursues the finest talent, trends, and ambiances to create extraordinary experiences.
