Automation Test Developer

Job DescriptionBecome a key player in our Test Automation & Tools Development team, bringing the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies to life. You'll be crafting and upkeeping automated test frameworks, scripts, and tools. This role goes beyond code: it includes supporting automated test runs, maintaining build systems, analyzing test results, triaging failures, reporting issues, gathering measurements, and benchmarking critical functionalities.RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with development and test teams to understand testing requirements and implement automated tests and tools.Develop automated test scripts and tools in Python to verify new feature functionality.Support existing solutions with necessary bug fixes and updates.Administer build systems and facilitate issue resolution.Execute automated tests and analyze results, identifying root causes and validating fixes.Contribute to team deliverables through agile scrum development sprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.3+ years of experience in Python development, including unit testing.Experience with automated testing environments and frameworks (e.g., Slash).Experience with UI-level testing (e.g., Squish).Experience with continuous integration systems (e.g., Jenkins).Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Chef).Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with test case management systems (e.g., TestRail) and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).Detail-oriented and adept at detecting and diagnosing software defects.Analytical skills with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions.Strong communication skills.Note:
