The Dynamics 365 Business Central Senior Developer will be responsible for providing guidance on Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Dynamics 365 Business Central infrastructure (cloud and on-prem), database, environment management, and system administration to support the business processes, applications, and integrations for our clients.A Day in the Life
Modifying or creating pages, reports, tables or custom logic in C/AL, AL, and Extensions according to requirementsUnderstand Dynamics platform data and data modelsWork with functional consultants to understand business process and client requirementsRelay status updates as needed to Client Success Manager and other team membersWrite blogs on architecture and development topics to contribute to the Stoneridge blogMentor other team membersProvide code reviews with enough insight to mentor other team membersWork with Client Success Manager and client to identify priority and severity of issuesTeach development topics to different audiencesBuild moderately complex integrations with both Dynamics and third-party systemsProvide detailed estimatesApply a deep understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system designBuild modifications for clients according to the designs outlining the features and within the time allotted by the estimates providedDocument features developedAssist Functional Consultants with technical questions related to gathering, defining, and documenting requirementsInvestigate existing environments for functionality troubleshooting or scoping purposesSupport Functional Consultants in translating business requirements into technical documentationTroubleshoot errors and performance-related issuesDebug error messagesTroubleshoot unexpected results based on customizationsReview and troubleshoot code of previous DevelopersMeet with previous implementation Developers to transition knowledgeFoster and champion psychological safety and a positive team environmentPreferred Qualifications
4+ years of previous development experience4+ years of experience in Microsoft D365 Business Central implementationsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or related field or related experienceCertifications in Dynamics platformAdvanced understanding of the Dynamics platform data structuresIntermediate understanding of Dynamics platform functionalityAdvanced understanding of version control toolsFamiliarity with Power Platform or ERP PlatformExperience with Visual StudioExperience with reporting toolsExperience working with common third-party add-on solutions and their integration with Dynamics platformExperience with Microsoft stack technologiesAbility to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English* Years of experience are not required to be consecutive.Work Location:

To determine competitive salaries within this range we consider candidates' skills, qualifications, and experience.
