By leveraging its core competencies, particularly in drilling, engineering, automation, data science, and manufacturing, Nabors aims to innovate the future of energy and enable the transition to a lower carbon world.JOB SUMMARYThe IT ERP Functional Architect for Manufacturing & Planning will perform analysis, design, configure, test, and support the Manufacture to Order business area encompassing planning, order management, and manufacturing execution processes. This position will lead the team and involve requirements gathering, performing Fit-Gap analysis, and configuring Microsoft Dynamics and/or Oracle modules to meet business requirements. The role requires completing assigned tasks and collaborating closely with the manager and other technical/functional team members.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport Supply Chain, Production, and Operations systems and processes.Create functional requirement documents, work independently to get design signoff from business, and collaborate with the technical team to develop reports, screen changes, and extensions.Test custom components and assist users on UAT to migrate changes to the Production environment.Analyze current business processes and assist users in optimizing system usage.Work with the Business Systems team to evaluate data and processes, troubleshoot systems, and incorporate solutions as required.Assess the cost/benefit of recommended process changes.Follow up with managers and users to ensure compliance with new procedures and system effectiveness.Accountable for quality, completeness, and on-time delivery of assigned projects.Understand the Software Development Life Cycle.Work with Oracle support for issues related to Service Requests on Oracle systems.Create training materials and provide training to users on Oracle functionalities.Support Oracle Supply Chain applications integrating with custom .NET applications and other Cloud applications.Collaborate effectively with vendors and third-party contractors to deliver requirements.Participate in the implementation team to roll out Oracle Cloud ERP application Procure to Pay modules for various countries, integrating with custom homegrown applications and Microsoft Dynamics applications.Engage with business users to resolve day-to-day issues as part of Oracle support.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSPost-secondary education with a Computer Sciences or Business Degree.Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst on either Microsoft Dynamics/AX or Oracle EBS on the functional side.Completed at least one full life cycle implementation of Oracle EBS/Microsoft Dynamics.Expert functional knowledge of Manufacturing, Planning, and Order Management modules.Functional knowledge of Dynamics/Oracle Supply Chain, warehouse management, and costing is an added advantage.Functional knowledge of Projects module is an added advantage.Able to understand user requirements and configure the system independently across the listed modules to achieve desired results.Provide design, testing, support, and training as required during projects.Knowledge of interfaces on Microsoft Dynamics/Oracle EBS with other applications is beneficial.Excellent analytical skills.Above-average written and verbal communication skills.Strong business understanding in supply chain and distribution areas, and the services/operations area of the organization.Ability to analyze and troubleshoot problems and recommend solutions.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSCertifications on Supply Chain modules.Knowledge in technical aspects including reports, SQL, workflows, OAF.BEHAVIORAL REQUIREMENTSSelf-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal direction.Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.Ability to quickly learn new applications and tools.Nabors is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibiting discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, religion, age, color, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
