Senior Data Scientist
Position Requirement:
MUST BE A US CITIZEN
ACTIVE TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED
MUST HAVE 9 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A DATA SCIENTIST WITH PERFORMING THIS ROLE AT THE NATIONAL GEOSPATIAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY REQUIRED

Overview:
Successful candidates will demonstrate experience in performing extensive and in-depth data investigations on complex problems using applied statistics, building algorithms, and collaborating with domain expertise to convey complicated realities to non-technical audiences.
Duties:
Provide the FG NOX (SFP) with data science management and automation support, ensuring solutions consider SFP modernization objectives.
Provide embedded GEOINT/Data Science expertise to assure continuity of data provision to the NSG.
Deliver service solutions that integrate best practices to modernize current practices.
Perform data investigations on complex problems using applied statistics, building algorithms, and collaborating with domain expertise to convey complicated realities to non-technical audiences.
Provide data visualization of disparate sources via dashboards that can be understood by non-technical audiences.
Assist in the development of a modernized data management workflow for all SFP programs through research and understanding of current SFP data management practices.
Coordinate utilization and sustainment of new database management processes and workflows with database developers and analysts.
Ensure new workflows can be integrated seamlessly with modernized database applications and enterprise-level APIs.
Assist in other data management tasks related to SFP's modernization activities, including data modeling, visualization, statistical analysis, scripting, and automation of data management tasks.
Participate in strategic development activities in accordance with stated NGA, Source (S), Foundation GEOINT Group (SF), and FG NOX (SFP) goals and objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
9 years’ experience with workflow management systems, such as Flowable or ESRI WMS.
Working knowledge and in-depth understanding of the Customer Requirements process.
A combination of 9 years of demonstrated experience in any six or more of the following tools/methodologies:
MapInfo, MapBasic
Python
ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcPro
Quantum GIS (QGIS)
PostgreSQL, PostGIS, PgAdmin
Application programming interfaces (APIs)
Using applied statistics & Building algorithms
