seeks a full-time Child Psychiatrist to join our dynamic Outpatient Child and Adolescent team in Bangor, Maine.In this position, you will join an experienced, collaborative team of psychiatrists, PMHNPs, RNs, and MAs that have a passion for providing top-notch psychiatric care to children and adolescents throughout Maine.Opportunity Details and Requirements:Monday-Thursday 8am to 6pmMust be board-certified or board-eligible in Child PsychiatryPossess solid clinical and leadership skillsLead an interdisciplinary team responsible for providing psychiatric care for children and adolescents referred to our outpatient programResponsibilities include diagnostic evaluations, annual re-evaluations, recommending/initiating treatment interventions, and follow-up care as indicatedOption to participate in teaching/lecturing opportunities with new Adult Psychiatry Residency Program beginning July 2024Become eligible for a clinical faculty position at the University of New England School of Osteopathic MedicineNorthern Light Acadia Hospital is an acute care, regional psychiatric teaching hospital that is the hub of a comprehensive behavioral health service line within Northern Light Health.
