Your Mission is Ours.Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a Full Time, Early Career, Software Engineer. In this role, you will participate in all phases of the System Software lifecycle from supporting initial System Design concepts, software requirements development, design, implementation, integration and test, including writing automated test scripts, tools, and software that runs on the F-35. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of the C++ programming language, object-oriented design, and familiarity with Unix or Linux.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or in a related STEM discipline from an accredited college/universityExperience with C++, Python, Agile, and GitExperience with Software Development TechniquesMust be a U.S. Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.Desired Skills:Knowledge on Debugging (GDB, PDB)Experience with RustExperience with DevOps/Pipelines/AutomationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a collaborative and team-based environmentInternship/Professional experience in C++University classes primarily developed using C++Security Clearance Statement:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
