Senior Software Engineer

JOB SUMMARY: Test and validate all Advanced WiFi releases for firmware, Plume, SCP Services, WIN UI and CUJO, including new features, feature enhancements, and bug fixes. Scope of testing includes router firmware functionality and integration, backend cloud services functionality and integration, UI features, device interoperability, E2E integration, and WiFi customer experience. Develop test cases and steps based on Product/business and technical requirements. Observe systems under test to ensure optimal behavior including validation of log messages from systems under test. Log identified defects, perform troubleshooting, and work with triage and development teams to inform root cause analysis. Support product and architecture teams to identify missing requirements, gaps in solution design, and end-to-end use cases to ensure optimal customer experience. Provide oversight and guidance to junior team members. The Senior Software Engineer does not supervise the members of the team.
EDUCATION/
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 3 years of experience: performing API testing and execution using Postman, Rest Assured, Swagger, Curl and SoapUI; and performing web-based application testing. 2 years of experience utilizing SQL to command usage, debug, and develop queries in database architecture. 1 year of experience: utilizing TCP/UDP, Network Protocols, IP Routing and DHCP; and utilizing Unix operating system, specifically debugging and command usage.
A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available
Salaries depend on geography, experience, and education; negotiations begin at $97,157 per year

The base pay for this position generally is between
$97,157.00 and $156,600.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
