Power Platform Dataverse Administrator / IT Specialist

in San Diego, CA. The candidate will provide information technology and administrative support to our Navy customer.Established in 2002, The Marlin Alliance, Inc. provides transformation consulting, professional services, and technical support to government, military, healthcare, telecommunications, and utility industry clients.Roles/ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Solutions in Microsoft Power Platform.Translate complex business requirements into detailed system design plans.Customize and configure entities, workflows, objects, fields, modern commands and classic ribbon buttons, reports, and dashboards in Microsoft Power Platform Dataverse.Develop integrations between Power Platform and other systems, using both standard and custom solutions.Utilize the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) to build applications and workflows that meet business requirements.Extend the capabilities of the Power Platform Model Driven Apps using the Client and Dataverse APIs.Integrate and develop solutions that incorporate Model-Driven and Canvas Apps.Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, business analysts, project managers and developers to ensure developed solutions meet business needs and align with the overall objectives.Provide timely technical support for Power Platform Solutions, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and bug fixes.Develop and maintain technical documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and system maintainability.Stay updated with latest developments and updates in Power Platform features and capabilities.Maintain and provide a staging environment for integration and operational testing prior to release of an application’s next version.Monitor system performance and server configuration maintenance.Execute applications deployment to test and production environments.Maintain development and integration test environments representative of the production environment and maintain configuration control of each environment’s IT components and content.Manage virtualized server configurations.Maintain and perform server administration.Execute information assurance scan requirements.Back-up applications and restore applications from back-up (disaster recovery).Document the configuration of the system.Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications:4+ years of experience developing in Microsoft Dataverse.2+ years' experience with Dataverse Admin Center.4+ years' experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.Working knowledge of Power Platform’s Pipelines including development of new pipelines and troubleshooting common pipeline deployment issues.Comfortable speaking in front of groups of stakeholders.Strong ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time.Ability to discuss technical features with non-technical customers.Preferred Qualifications:Secret Security Clearance (Preferred).Experience with the following: Azure SQL.Flank Speed Tenant experience or other IL5 Tenant Development experience.Work Environment and Mental/Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
