Solar Roof Lead

for our Solar Operations department. The

Solar Roof Lead

will perform a wide variety of operations duties. The ideal candidate will have prior solar installation experience, be motivated, dedicated, and a team player. In addition, the ideal candidate will have high attention to detail and a genuine care for his/her craftsmanship.Responsibilities:Lead solar installation crews on the roof in residential projectsEnsure completion of solar installations on various roof types, as well as ground mountsDirect the work of others at job site - provide subject matter expertise as neededIdentify, communicate, and resolve any safety hazards on the roofRead and review blueprints and plan documentsInstall racking systems and modulesRun conduit and wiring on roofsOther tasks and duties, as neededQualifications:Knowledge of the do's and do-nots of complete solar installBasic understanding of electrical wiringAbility to work in diverse weather conditions1+ year(s) of solar installation experience2+ years of roofing experienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), some college preferredEquivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the positionPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standardsAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsMust be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of timeMust be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on telephoneMust be able to climb ladders and stairs regularly, and be comfortable with heights of at least 20 feet and walking on all roof typesAble to work in various weather conditions and in extreme temperaturesAbility to lift 50+ pounds regularlyPay Rate:

up to $25 per hr.
