A leading financial services company based in the Tampa area, dedicated to delivering secure, innovative solutions to protect sensitive financial data and ensure regulatory compliance. The organization is expanding its Identity and Access Management (IAM) program and is seeking a Senior SailPoint Developer to lead the implementation of key SailPoint IdentityIQ initiatives.
The Senior SailPoint Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure, customize, and integrate SailPoint within the company's IAM ecosystem. The role focuses on identity governance, access provisioning, role management, and ensuring alignment with industry compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design, development, and deployment of SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions, with a focus on access provisioning, governance, and identity lifecycle management.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze identity management requirements and translate them into SailPoint configurations and workflows.Develop custom SailPoint connectors and integrate with Active Directory, LDAP, and other enterprise applications and systems.Implement role-based access control (RBAC), separation of duties (SoD), and audit/compliance reporting within the SailPoint platform.Perform code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting of SailPoint solutions to ensure system integrity and performance.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices in SailPoint development.Ensure the SailPoint platform complies with security policies, regulations, and frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.Work closely with IT security and compliance teams to support audit activities and security assessments.Assist in ongoing maintenance, updates, and performance tuning of SailPoint systems, including upgrades and patch management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ development and implementation.Proficiency in Java, BeanShell scripting, and working with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).Strong understanding of identity governance, access management, and IAM workflows.Experience developing and configuring SailPoint connectors for Active Directory, LDAP, and enterprise applications.Familiarity with IAM principles, including RBAC, SoD, and compliance auditing.Knowledge of financial services security practices and regulatory frameworks.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.Preferred SkillsSailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer or equivalent certification.Experience with cloud-based IAM solutions (AWS, Azure) and their integration into SailPoint.Familiarity with financial industry regulations, including SOX, GDPR, and PCI-DSS.BenefitsCompetitive salary and annual performance bonuses.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) plan with company match.Flexible hybrid work environment based in the Tampa, FL area (St. Petersburg)Opportunities for career development and ongoing professional training.This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior SailPoint Developer to work on critical identity and access management initiatives at a top-tier financial services company.
