VetsEZ is looking for a HealthShare Technical Upgrade Lead for a 100% remote position to support a large federal government project for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role involves leading the technical upgrades of InterSystems HealthShare and Red Hat Enterprise Linux, among other key program products, to ensure seamless integration and optimized performance.The candidate must reside within the continental US.Responsibilities:Lead and execute the end-to-end upgrade processes for InterSystems HealthShare, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and other relevant platforms in the Veterans Data Integration and Federation Enterprise Platform (VDIF).Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application development and operations, to ensure smooth implementation of technical upgrades.Create and implement strategies to support enterprise-wide program growth while continuously improving existing processes to maximize efficiency.Manage project prioritization, schedules, resource allocation, and risk assessment to ensure timely delivery and meet program objectives.Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including executive management, program managers, and other decision-makers, to report on project status, requirements, and timelines.Provide thought leadership and innovative solutions for infrastructure and upgrade methodologies, ensuring that best practices and industry standards are met.Act as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to upgrades and integrations.Conduct in-depth performance analysis of product lines, making data-driven decisions to address issues and improve overall performance.Develop comprehensive documentation supporting upgrade processes, training materials, and technical guidelines for continuous improvement.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.10-15 years of relevant experience in technical upgrade roles, preferably within healthcare or similar industries.In-depth knowledge and direct experience with InterSystems HealthShare, Cache, or IRIS.Proven experience in Agile Software Development methodologies, with a strong focus on DevSecOps (e.g., CI/CD) and the SAFe framework.Experience with product road mapping and sustainment activities.Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.Demonstrated success in leading large-scale upgrades, delivering results on time, and driving continuous improvements.Additional Qualifications:Experience working with the VA or other health-related organizations is a plus.Ability to obtain a government clearance.401k with Employer MatchCorporate LaptopTraining opportunitiesVetsEZ is an equal opportunity employer.
