We are seeking a Senior Software Development Manager who will lead an exceptionally talented team of Software Engineers and Senior Software Engineers to help elevate the Networking Software stack into the best and most secure one in the modern cloud environment by adding features and scale.Responsibilities:Ensuring high availability and maintaining a high operational posture of your service.Setting the roadmap for the service by negotiating requirements and deliverables with product management, various internal and external customers.Developing project development plans.Driving the team to deliver on availability and roadmap commitments.Provide leadership, direction, and strategy for a team of senior engineers.Manage and deliver on a large portfolio of key OCI initiatives with a special emphasis on routing services in networking.Develop a prioritized roadmap of products, features, and engineering asks.Drive the delivery of roadmap commitments on time with high quality.Work closely with a variety of stakeholders (other OCI teams, Oracle Corp teams, product management) to ensure cross-organizational dependencies are managed effectively.Provide regular updates to executive management.Monitor the health of routing services in the OCI fleet and drive solutions to problems before they impact Cloud capacity and availability.Required Qualifications:BA/BS or higher degree in Computer Science or Equivalent.8+ years of experience developing/operating/managing products and/or services, including 4+ years in a management position.Experience quickly understanding new codebases and making cost-benefit tradeoff decisions.Disclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and Benefit Information:US: Hiring Range: from $84,700 to $251,600 per annum.
