The Director of IT HR Technology & Business Engagement is responsible for helping drive the implementation of innovative HR technology solutions, with an emphasis on harnessing the power of the latest advanced digital technologies to support the strategic goals of the Corning HR organization. This role requires close collaboration with HR leadership to identify strategic needs, define requirements, and deliver solutions that optimize HR processes and enhance the employee experience.Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of the IT HR technology and architecture strategy and roadmap, aligning with the HR vision and priorities.Partner with HR leadership to design and manage the HR technology and digital portfolio, including the selection, implementation, integration, maintenance, and enhancement of HR systems and applications.Ensure the HR technology architecture and solutions are user-friendly, scalable, reliable, secure, and compliant with data privacy and regulatory standards.Keep up to date with the latest digital trends and technologies, ensuring our HR solutions are innovative and future-proof.Partner with HR leadership to manage the HR technology budget, resources, vendors, and contracts, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness of deliverables.Provide technical leadership and guidance to HR users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.Ensure all IT HR technology activities comply with company policies and legal guidelines.Monitor and evaluate the performance, functionality, and user satisfaction of HR IT technology solutions, and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.Regularly review and update IT HR technology systems to ensure they are secure, reliable, and efficient.Experiences/Education - Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in leading and managing IT technology projects and solutions, preferably in a large and complex organization with a specific focus on HR digital systems.Excellent understanding of HR processes and systems.Experienced in designing and implementing digital HR solutions.Proven track record of successfully delivering HR solutions.Strong understanding of digital architecture principles and frameworks.Experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and cloud computing.Experience with data analysis, machine learning, and AI technologies.Understanding of cybersecurity principles.Strong organizational and project management skills.Knowledge of data privacy regulations and HR legal requirements.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms.Demonstrated leadership, innovation, and continuous learning mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing business and technology needs.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.This position does not support immigration sponsorship.The range for this position is $192,836.00-$265,150.00 assuming full-time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
