The SAC Developer is responsible for building, maintaining, and improving financial reporting within SAC, and maintaining underlying models and accounts. This role is within the Finance department and reports to the Manager of Financial Business Intelligence. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining reports in SAC, reconciling and troubleshooting data discrepancies, and supporting financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in SAC. Core competencies include advanced skills in building and maintaining financial reports in SAC, familiarity with hierarchy and account maintenance, experience with QA and integration testing, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.As An SAC Developer, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Understanding business needs and problems, and partnering with stakeholders to provide reporting that can drive more informed decision-making.Designing, building, and maintaining complex financial reports in SAC in support of monthly reporting, budgeting, planning, and forecasting.Ensuring that data is accurate, ties to reported results, and that any issues are escalated to appropriate stakeholders.Implementing and maintaining hierarchies, models, and complex calculations within SAC.Troubleshooting and resolving data and reporting issues as they arise.Working with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize enhancement and development requests.Creating and maintaining documentation for SAC reporting.Working with IT to support and test data and report changes as needed.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, and skills required.Qualifications
What It Takes To Catch Our Eye:5+ years of progressive experience in SAP, including designing, developing, and troubleshooting complex reports.2+ years of progressive experience building reports in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).Familiarity with financial terms and calculations.Skilled in the implementation and maintenance of hierarchies, models, and calculations.Solid understanding of database design principles and experience with data modeling.Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to prioritize and achieve results.Attention to detail that translates into strong analytical results and problem-solving.Ability to take initiative and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Bonus Points For:Experience with SQL or prior experience in financial planning and analysis.Additional Information
