Amentum is seeking an experienced Information Technologist to support the Program Executive Office Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) under the Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) construct. The successful candidate will provide advanced technical support for a range of applications, systems, and networks. This role requires the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to solve complex problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.HIRING SALARY RANGE:
$105,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) For more detailed information on our Benefits and what it is like to work for Amentum: please visit our careers site: www.amentumcareers.comInformation Technologist Responsibilities Include:Providing recommendations on software applications used across DoN to support PEO IWS.Supporting business case analysis for Chief Information Officer on IT requests and digital infrastructure.Providing technical support for systems, applications, and networks in the PEO IWS environment.Monitoring system performance and making recommendations for improvements.Performing root cause analysis on technical issues and developing solutions to prevent future occurrences.Developing and maintaining technical documentation for supported systems.Working with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.Assisting in the design and implementation of new systems and applications.Conducting training and providing technical guidance to end-users as required.Basic Qualifications:Graduate degree from an accredited University.In lieu of Graduate degree, High School diploma, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+).Must have an active Secret security clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.Minimum of 10 years of experience.Experience with Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI).Experience with Data/Information Management Planning.Experience monitoring data centers, technical service centers, help desks, communication networks (voice and data), computer systems operations, and maintenance.Experience managing support for the Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) equipment and facilities.*Position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce (CSWF) position with certification for [411 - Technical Support Specialist] Advanced.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with high-level digital transformation strategy and execution, including both hardware and software.Experience with the Department of the Navy.Experience with NAVSEA 03.Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
