Location:

Jacksonville, Tampa, or Washington DC Areas (Hybrid); Miami or Naples (Remote)

Salary Range:

$75,000 to $100,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience. Bonus Potential + Great Benefits

Terrific Planned Giving Officer position with a highly regarded national nonprofit. The Planned Giving Officer will join a relatively new team focused on building out the organization's planned giving initiatives. Responsibilities will include the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of planned giving prospects and maintaining a strong donor portfolio. The Planned Giving Officer must ensure the successful progression of donors and prospects through the moves management process. The position will focus on donors in Florida and expand to other states in the region over time. Candidates should have the strong communication and interpersonal skills needed to develop and steward relationships with donors. Qualified candidates must have 5+ years of fundraising experience. Bachelor's degree or more extensive experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full lifecycle of fundraising for a portfolio of planned giving prospects and donors primarily within Florida

Ensure moves management and a properly balanced portfolio

Collaborate across the organization to identify and secure new donors, including the communications, marketing, programs, and other development teams

Develop and implement cultivation strategies

Create donor communications including proposals and stewardship reports

Utilize wealth screening tools to gain new prospects

Travel to meet with prospects and current donors, up to 75% of the time

Qualifications:

5+ years of nonprofit fundraising or related experience; planned giving experience required

Bachelor's degree or more extensive experience in lieu of a degree

Demonstrated experience with the full lifecycle of fundraising for planned gifts

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM

Valid state-issued driver's license

Ability to travel for donor meetings, organization events, etc.
