R&D Senior Systems Engineering

in the Sports Medicine business to drive and lead system engineering for new product development. As a System Engineer, you will play an interdisciplinary role with a mission to provide engineering leadership to new product development teams.What will you be doing?Drive all the engineering activities and technical aspects of the program in partnership with the technical leads and program managersClearly articulate program mission and characterize stakeholder needsOwn requirements development including User Needs and System RequirementsDefine system architecture including functional, physical, and interface specificationsDevelop verification and validation strategiesSupport pre-clinical and clinical evaluationsAnalyze product and project risk throughout developmentRemain current with the systems engineering discipline and champion good systems engineering practice on development programsWhat will you need to be successful?Education:

Minimum BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical degreePreferred MS in Systems Engineering or other formal Systems Engineering trainingExperience:

Minimum of 4+ years' experience in R&D working on complex productsAn understanding of medical device design control and standards including IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA and MDDIn depth knowledge in at least one technical subject area: electrical, mechanical, software engineeringExperience with digital or cloud-based products a plusExpertise in partitioning and decomposing complex engineering problems into solvable problems.Experience using Cognition Cockpit or similar tools for requirements managementExperience using Enterprise Architect or similar tools for model-based systems engineering related activities is a plus.Persistent, driven, self-motivated, keen to make an impact.Excellent organizational, documentation and written/verbal communication skillsTravel Requirements: 10%You.
