In this role as a Network Development Engineer, you will be part of the lab technical team designing and building the network that enables Kuiper. Define the long term vision, design the technical solutions, and implement the design. This role is focused on our terrestrial network.Key job responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers and leaders across the org to define connectivity solutions for Kuiper.Provide technical leadership for Kuiper's terrestrial network plan and implementation for sites around the world.Define network solutions for Kuiper's launch, manufacturing, and lab sites.Support and champion the full lifecycle of networking, including enabling improved support tooling and monitoring capabilities.Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of major internet routing protocols experience1+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience3+ years of working with Cisco and/or Juniper network gearPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience3+ years building networking solutions for global deploymentsExperience with AWS and AWS networking products such as Direct Connect and Transit GatewayAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
