About The Job

Work will be maintaining and growing the AT&T encryption at rest and Secrets Management infrastructure. The successful candidate will design, engineer, and maintain the critical encryption at rest environment. This work will consist of working with many AT&T application teams in onboarding/utilizing existing infrastructure, supporting the applications teams using the encryption tools, maintaining current software releases, and assisting application teams with any problems encountered.

You will be working on efforts to migrate applications from premise-based encryption at rest usage to Cloud Based encryption at rest, using our existing solutions. You will also assist in the assessment and evaluation of the next generation of data at rest encryption solutions.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Includes ideation, testing, proof of concept and support for various cyber related projects. Analysis of complex security issues and the development and engineering activities to help mitigate risk.

Analyzes various hardware and/or software solutions recommending purchases and identifying modifications to fit AT&T's cyber security needs and that of our managed services teams. Develops policies and procedures to minimize network intrusion, malware events and vulnerability issues for internal and external customers.

Applies measures to block malicious code and applications. Includes forward looking research, planning and strategy to strengthen our stance against future cyber security threats, and enhance our mitigation techniques and technology solutions.

Required Skills

8+ years strong security background in CyberSecurity with an emphasis on Encryption and CyberSecurity fundamentals.

Linux/Unix/Windows System Admin functions are necessary. Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, and shell scripting. Ability to clearly communicate and provide documentation for identified system issues to both vendor and internal teams. Experience with Public Cloud environments.

Desired Skills

Achievement of any of the following certifications would be a plus: CISSP, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Security Specialist.

Experience with data at rest encryption products, such as Thales desired. Knowledge of KeyFactor EJBCA, KeyFactor CMD, Voltage SecureData, Thales data at rest encryption products (DSM’s, CipherTrust Manager), HashiCorp Vault Secrets Management, HSM’s, and Microsoft Purview desirable.

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Cybersecurity.

This is a hybrid position requiring minimum three days office presence per week. This position is only available in Alpharetta, GA; Dallas, TX, Bedminster/Middletown, NJ; and Bothell, WA. Full-time remote work is not offered.

Salary Range:

$158,200.00 - $237,400.00 USD Annual. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
