Role Overview:
Beehive Industries is searching for a qualified candidate to fill an open position for a Sr. CNC Machinist/Programmer. This position is intended for a self-driven professional looking to expand their abilities to include machining consumable goods for the DMLS process as well as metal 3D printed components.
Responsibilities:
Setup and run
3-axis and 5-axis CNC vertical machining centers and CMM equipment
Develop machining fixtures for complex aerospace components
Program CNC equipment on-line and off-line
Quote machining work for internal and external customers
Maintain accurate and legible records of production work and results
Uphold a high degree of a work-area cleanliness (daily and weekly) and organization
Explore opportunities to add value to the organization
Perform preventative and proactive maintenance on various shop equipment
Understand and identify EH&S hazards, risks and controls of the machine shop operations and activities at the site
Ensure full compliance with EHS and Quality requirements
Allocate tooling to be ordered for jobs
Requirements:
4+ years of CNC machining experience in turbo machinery components
Experience machining castings, forging or 3D printed hardware an asset using 5 axis CNC, and EDM machines
High School Diploma
Experience in SolidCAM, MasterCam or
NX PowerMill an asset
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and Microsoft Office (2 years programming experience)
Strong technical skills in GD&T & blueprints
Strong experience with turning/lathes
Some experience working with Heat Resistant Super Alloys (Nickel Alloys)
Experience with OKUMA and Makino multi axis CNC equipment preferred
Excellent problem solving, organizational, communication and teamwork skills
Exposure to working within a facility quality systems and codes (ex. ISO 9001, AS9100)
Physical Requirements:

In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $35.00-$50.00 base salary. Please note that wage information is a general guideline only, and we will consider factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, and market conditions when extending an offer.
