West Monroe is currently seeking a talented Senior Manager to lead our Sales Strategy team within our Tech Ex Platforms practice. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading project teams and developing strategies for our clients related to sales effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Client Delivery
Execute transformational projects with a scope of services that includes diagnostics/business cases, channel strategy, sales strategy, sales model and go-to market (GTM) design, sales through service process optimization, sales performance measurement & rewards, sales tool and enablement, and sales culture.
Develop data driven, customer-centric segmentation strategies and creating innovative sales and marketing analytics.
Analyze each client's specific request and determine the underlying problem and recommend proper solutions.
Manage client relationships and meet with clients to determine business and functional requirements.
Mentor and manage teams of Consultants and Managers.
People and Practice Development
Be a leader in growing and developing the Sales Strategy team.
Identify strengths and issues; drive and develop better behavior to create strong Consultants.
Participate actively in the recruiting process for other Consultants.
Drive the development and enhancement of WMP’s methodologies and approaches to client delivery and provide thought leadership for internal practice development.
Coach and manage other consultants and participate actively in the performance expectation process.
Business Development
Participate in business development with prospective clients including pre-sales, estimating, negotiating and project planning.
Create work plans, pricing estimates, and risk assessments for prospects.
Participate in key client relationships and growing those accounts within Customer Experience practice and cross selling to other areas within WMP.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience working for a consulting firm or as a Sales Operations leader on the industry side.
Demonstrates proven extensive skills driving improvements in sales efficiency and productivity, including sales channel design, partner management, coverage model design, go-to-market planning, and sales methodology design/deployment (including sales compensation design).
Extensive industry sales and management consulting abilities in sales front office (e.g., sales effectiveness, channel design & partner management, sales process design, organizational design and coverage models, compensation, selling methodologies).
Knowledge of sales operations technologies and how they impact the overall sales process.
Ability to work well with people including project stakeholders and project team members.
Ability to travel to client-site 30-50%.
Salary Information:
Based on pay transparency guidelines, the salary range for this role can vary based on your proximity to one of our West Monroe offices. Individual salaries are determined by evaluating a variety of factors including geography, experience, skills, education, and internal equity.

$199,100—$223,400 USD
Los Angeles:
$205,400—$234,100 USD
New York City or San Francisco:
$215,200—$244,700 USD
