Desktop Support Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our employees in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will be able to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware and software

Provide technical support for printers, scanners, and other peripherals

Ensure all technology equipment is maintained and updated

Collaborate with IT team to implement system upgrades and enhancements

Assist with IT projects and initiatives as needed

Qualifications and Skills:

Proven experience as a Desktop Support Specialist or similar role

Knowledge of Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Certification such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) is a plus
