This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Aimbridge Hospitality. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices.Searching for a savvy Director of Sales that has the aptitude and drive to be creative with strategies and action plans. This role is for a sales leader to grow the hotel's performance.The Director of Sales-Select Service has direct oversight of sales and marketing operations for a Select Service hotel. This role is responsible for achieving optimal occupancy and ADR growth to maximize total revenue while meeting/exceeding hotel profit objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing the hotel sales department operations, direct sales, follow-up sales administration, hiring, training, and coaching.Qualifications:At least 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience preferred; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and at least 2 years of related experience.Must have a valid driver’s license in the applicable state.Must possess highly developed verbal & written communication skills.Must have thorough experience with professional selling skills.Strong analytical skills and strategic vision.Proficient in general computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Office products.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.Strong organization and presentation skills.Demonstrated ability to interact and manage diverse teams.Requires advanced knowledge of sales/marketing/hospitality principles.Must maintain composure under pressure.Ability to work with financial information and basic arithmetic functions.Responsibilities:Coordinate all group transient and catering sales solicitations and bookings to maximize overall revenue.Develop, recommend, implement, and manage annual budget and marketing plans for the hotel.Conduct outside sales calls and entertain clients.Negotiate contract terms.Maintain market awareness to predict revenue opportunities.Monitor production of all top accounts and evaluate market trends.Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality’s established regulations and sales metrics.Train hotel staff on recognizing and capitalizing on sales opportunities.Maintain strong visibility in local community and industry organizations.Attend and/or conduct meetings and training as required.Act on behalf of the General Manager in their absence.Travel on a weekly basis as required.Compensation:
Base salary range starts at $60,000 (BOE) + quarterly incentive plan.Benefits:
