The Manager, Influencer Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing an influencer strategy to support the growth and awareness of Lulus. This person will develop a strategic framework for partnering with influencers and high-level talent to engage new and existing customers, helping to define the niches of influencers that resonate most with Lulus target demographics.
What You’ll Do
The Manager, Influencer Marketing role will support in optimizing and scaling influencer programs, providing strategic, performance-based insights. They will oversee the relationship management, inclusive of outreach, negotiations and contract development with paid partners and their respective agencies. Additionally, they will manage the team’s measurement and reporting system to evaluate impact as well as oversee and distribute budget across programs.
Campaign Strategy & Execution
Lead the influencer marketing team to execute successful campaigns and activations by developing effective strategies and tactical plans for achieving the brand’s goals and objectives.
Prioritize tactics to align with the goals and proactively adjust goals when necessary.
Conduct influencer casting, outreach, and negotiation.
Lead the management of deliverables for content creators.
Maintain a close pulse on relevant influencer industry trends and apply to strategy to optimize success where possible.
Field questions and concerns regarding alignment of influencer partnerships, influencer strategy, the monetization of content, and the expected return on investments.
Manage multiple campaigns with solid organizational skills and the ability to focus on and prioritize tasks based on the brand’s objectives.
Reporting & Analysis
Use data strategically and nimbly; all analysis or data shared is consistently accurate and precise.
Consistently draw relevant and accurate conclusions using data to identify trends, analyze campaigns, and provide client insights and recommendations to reach or exceed goals.
Perform robust analysis of influencer campaigns using multiple data points such as engagement rate, earned media value, and conversion metrics to support recommendations to clients.
Overall
Consistently demonstrate intellectual curiosity; challenge the status quo, regularly pitching new, or out of box influencer or campaign opportunities.
Comprehensive knowledge of fashion, current trends, key figures and market.
Understanding and awareness of current and emerging social media platforms & influencer trends.
Ability to effectively take on multiple roles with fluidity in retail + e-commerce.
Additional duties as assigned by the Lulus marketing team.
Travel will be required.
What You’ll Need
8+ years of experience in brand/influencer marketing.
Experience leading Influencer marketing strategy and campaign execution for an Influencer network, agency, or retail brand.
2+ years of leadership experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage through influence and drive work through others.
Proven balance between creative and analytical skill sets, with demonstrable attention to detail.
Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills.
Strong ability to create strategies and collect and analyze data.
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and hands-on.
Nice to Have - Bonus Points!
Familiarity with the Lulus brand, brand voice and messaging, and Lulus customer-first approach.
Experience using Tribe Dynamics, Creator IQ, Grin, Aspire IQ and/or similar platforms.
Proficient using Google Drive, particularly Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail and presentation.
Proven reliability and sense of urgency.
Flexible availability throughout the week.
Great communication skills – both written and verbal.
