Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?We're looking for an Executive Assistant to support the GAM - U.S. CEO and senior US distribution leaders. This role will coordinate and manage executive scheduling and prepare and organize important strategic plans and meeting materials. This role serves as the eyes and ears for the Executive Leadership, connecting organizations, projects, and critical business information to this individual, and serves as a trusted partner to deliver on the priorities of the business.The dynamic nature of this role requires that the ideal candidate have exemplary time management skills and the ability to identify and anticipate needs. The role must interact seamlessly and with a professional demeanor across a broad range of individuals including members of the leadership team.At RBC Global Asset Management, your career progression matters to us. We offer training, development and learning resources so you continue to grow your career in a way that matters to you.What will you do?Heavy calendaring for all supported executives; maintenance of daily agendas, coordinate meetings, conferences, and other appointments on-demand between internal and external clientsCoordinate business travel arrangements and process expense reports accurately and promptly for principalsProvide administrative support such as scheduling, communications, agendas and minutes for select governance committee meetings and leadership meetings.Communicate with senior-level executives and clients with discretion and confidentialityExecutive deliverables on time and prioritize tasks at handLiaison with tech team as neededPerforms other related projects as assignedWhat do you need to succeed?Must-haveExpert organizational knowledge and deep understanding of the operational environment.3+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant supporting at least one senior-level executiveAdvanced in Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Word)Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work effectively with others in a pleasant, professional mannerExcellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects at the same timeSelf-starter who works independently with minimal supervision; can effectively work under pressure and meet sudden deadlinesAble to handle confidential matters with discretion and good judgmentNice-to-haveExperience working in the financial services industry a plus*This is an hourly, non-exempt role.What's in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
