Brief Summary of Work for this Position:

The Assistant Director of Marketing & Fan Experience will assist with all marketing and fan experience efforts and initiatives for assigned UNCW Athletics teams. This position will assist with developing, organizing, and implementing special events and student attendance promotional events to increase involvement with UNCW Athletics. The Assistant Director will serve as liaison for the UNCW mascot by hiring staff and coordinating appearances. Additional responsibilities include hiring, training, motivating and supervising student employees. This position will develop and conduct community outreach programs for youth sports organizations in the area and work closely with the Seahawk Club, Athletics Facilities and Events, and the Athletic Ticket Office for fan engagement related activities.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
