Opportunity:Avantor , a Global Fortune 500 company is looking for a dedicated Research Scientist - Biopharma Upstream Processes to optimize our Biopharma Production organization. This Bridgewater, NJ/ Innovation Center role is full-time, on-site.If you have scientific upstream bioanalytical experience - let's talk.Minimum Education Requirement:BS in biochemistry, chemical engineering or relevant scientific disciplineRequired Experience (2+ yr.):Conducting hands-on bioanalytical testing needed for product/protein characterization, process optimization and/or product commercialization.Utilizing HPLC based bioanalytical techniques to characterize proteins and/or peptides, antibodies, amino acids and/or other materials (IE: HPLC/UPLC, SEC, LC-MS)Utilizing protein and/or cell-based bioanalytical techniques (IE: SDS-PAGE, ELISA, cell based assays, Western Blot, glycosylation and/or peptide/amino acid characterization tools).Preparing reports, publications, and oral presentations to advance projects, to resolve process/product issues and customer complaints, to support development/characterization and/or for technical problem-solving activities.Preferred Experience:Researching, developing, and transferring bioanalytical and/or cell based methods for intermediate and finished goods release testing and stability studies/shelf-life determination.cGMP, Compendia, FDA, ICH / regulatory agency requirementsCollaboration skills (IE: Microsoft Office, ELN).Empower, MassLynx, ChemStation, OpenLab and/ or Mass HunterHow you will thrive and create an impact:Avantor's Biopharma Production organization works side-by-side with Scientists around the world to enable breakthroughs in medicine, healthcare, and technology at scale.
