The

Business Intelligence Developer

has responsibility, accountability and stewardship of ACSA’s business intelligence reporting and all related functional areas, including but not limited to designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions primarily using PowerBI. This non-supervisory role involves working closely with various stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports.SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISEDReports to and receives general direction from ACSA’s Enterprise Data Director. Works independently and uses expertise and experience to exercise discretion over methods used to perform tasks.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESDeliver organizational business intelligence, including:Designing, developing, and maintaining PowerBI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.

Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Developing enterprise-wide, cascading key-performance-indicator (KPI) program and integrating these KPIs within PowerBI dashboards across the organization to drive enterprise-wide collaboration, efficiency, and optimization.

Data modeling, including but not limited to developing, analyzing, and maintaining data models within the organization to ensure that they comply with industry standards and best practices.

Leveraging Microsoft AI capabilities, including but not limited to predictive analytics, pattern discovery, and automated analysis.

Optimizing PowerBI solutions for performance and scalability.

Managing and administering PowerBI service, including workspace and dataset management, security, and user access.

Integrating PowerBI with other data sources and applications.

Providing training and support to end-users on business intelligence tools and best practices.

Monitoring and troubleshooting business intelligence solutions to ensure data accuracy and reliability.

Staying up to date with the latest PowerBI features and business intelligence industry trends.

WORKING CONDITIONSSitting for long hours, working at a computer workstation for extended periods

Perform light physical activity, including moving up to forty pounds

Limited travel may be required by land or air, with occasional overnights

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSPassion for innovation and data.

Minimum 10 years of proven experience within the area of data and business intelligence.

Strong proficiency in PowerBI, including advanced DAX functions, paginated reports, drill throughs and row-level security.

Experience with data modeling (Star, Snowflake, Galaxy, etc.) and ETL processes.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics 365, and Dataverse data concepts.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong business acumen, communication, and collaboration skills.

Ability to demonstrate integrity, respect and professionalism at all times.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge of SQL and other data analysis tools.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

Experience at a membership organization.

Experience with Azure services and cloud-based data solutions.

Familiarity with other business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Qlik.

Certifications in PowerBI and/or related business intelligence technologies.Hiring salary range for the position is $109,080 to $126,250 annually.#J-18808-Ljbffr
