Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried/ExemptAnticipated Salary Range: $88,707.00-$123,000.00Security Clearance: TS/SCILevel of Experience: MidHIThis opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. From towers to processors, we design, develop, integrate and manage the sensors, systems and other assets necessary to support integrated intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) operations, exploitation and analysis for the Intelligence Community, the military services, geographic and functional combatant commands and DoD agencies.Mission Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to perform as the subject matter expert in all avenues of cyber security/information assurance for the project. This includes operation of all DoD and approved commercial cyber tools utilized to protect the project data and assets. The Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) for the project will manage day to day operations of the cyber suite, making all required reports to project management and all required DoD activities as directed. Additionally, the ISSO will assist in developing all required RMF IA documentation to achieve/maintain Authority to Operate for all project networks.What You Will Do

Performing daily analysis of the Enterprise Security Solutions (ESS) events for all installed modules (including Intrusion Prevention System/Firewall/Data Loss Prevention/Rogue System Detection/Enterprise Virus Scan)Audit installed network firewalls and intrusion prevention systems to ensure proper function and detection of potential security concernsPerform administration and tuning of the host-based firewalls and intrusion prevention systemsInstall weekly updates for all modules within the ESS suite and for the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)Perform weekly compliance scans for ACAS and provide monthly reports to the ISSM, updating the POAM with the latest informationWork with the network administrators to ensure monthly patching is completed, verifying with ACAS scans and manual auditsPerform quarterly STIG assessments on all project networks and record findings in the applicable POAM, providing any concerns to the ISSMEnsure new users sign user agreements and complete required training prior to receiving accountsPerform random WiFi/Bluetooth/Cell inspections on spaces to ensure adherence to command electronic device policyReview auditing solutions on each enclave to ensure auditing requirements are met and report any findings to the ISSMWork with the training staff to ensure all IA related training requirements are met and any new requirements are developed, approved and initializedWhat We Are Looking For

5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experienceSecurity+ or GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)Must have Certified Access Specialist (CASP) CE, or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or GIAC Security Leadership Certificate (GSLC)Proficient with DoD cyber tools (ESS and ACAS) as well as auditing, firewalls/IPS and RMF documentationPhysical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
