Association Business Developer,
you will provide overall sales support to one or more Regional Business Developers. Duties may include, but are not limited to: market research, prospective client reach-outs via phone, email & walk in, creating and editing proposals and presentations and coordinating & attending local industry marketing events.*This full-time benefited on-site position will be based in Santa Clarita, but will support the Market, which includes: Ventura, Camarillo, Simi Valley, Moorpark and San Fernando Valley. A company vehicle is included.*RESPONSIBILITIES of the Associate Business Developer role will include, but are not limited to:Provides overall support to the Regional Business Developer to include: proposal & contract preparation, client reach outs via phone & email, ordering & sending out swag give-away, scheduling meetings, organizing & attending sales events, trade shows and industry events.Identifies and qualifies leads through various sources such as online marketing campaigns, inbound inquiries and referrals.Prospects new customers through lead generation research and outreach calls.Assists with the preparation of sales proposals, contracts and overall sales strategies.Provides informational services & assists with inbound and outbound customer inquiries.Creates, maintains & updates custom database & contact list.Registers, organizes, prepares and attends all marketing & sales events such as: trade shows, customer networking, company sponsored & industry events; can include evenings and weekends.Creates social media posts for Regional Business Developer(s) and other staff members as needed.Are you the right fit for this role?*SKILLS & EXPERIENCE that are necessary as an Associate Business Developer role will include, but are not limited to:AA degree or higher in Communications, Marketing and/or Business Management is highly preferred.Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with solid time management abilities.Should possess a positive and outgoing personality and be self-driven to research and find leads via cold calling and/or internet, email, etc.Professional and personable phone etiquette is required with a high ability to find customers' pain points/specific needs.Experienced in cold calling & building a rapport with potential customers by communicating specific service solutions to benefit the prospective customer.Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and provide recommendations/strategies.Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook email & calendar, Excel, Word & PowerPoint).Able to multi-task with strong follow-up skills with internal and external customers.Basic knowledge of graphic design such as Canva.*PERKS and PLUSES:Healthcare benefit program & 401K match program.Company paid vehicle to be used from the office to & from events as needed.9 paid holidays per year with paid vacation & sick leave.Company paid take-home cell phone & laptop.Fun and fast-paced working environment with a great work-life balance.Gothic’s company culture fosters growth, inspires longevity and rewards mutual loyalty.SALARY RANGE:$68,000 - $72,000 per year.OUR EEO POLICY:
