Lead Front End Engineer, Ecommerce , you will own the process and ensure the highest quality construction, improve the value and quality of the delivered solutions and enhance the potential of the technical team. You will autonomously evaluate eCommerce products, establish standards, define the architecture and be accountable for the necessary health of the overall solution. You will teach, mentor, and share knowledge, improve processes and develop systematic solutions to problem patterns.

This position will sit onsite in Grapevine, Texas.Responsibilities:Own platform governance activities ensuring safe use of commerce cloud resources like reviewing/ mitigating/ resolving of error logs & performance issues, etc.Architect Digital Consumer experiences based on a foundation of SFCC (Salesforce commerce cloud) & ReactTranslate functional requirements and high-level solution designs into detailed SFCC technical designMentor and guide the team by improving commerce cloud platform knowledge, development skills, goal setting, performance evaluations, and performance evaluationsPerforms gap analysis between business requirements and commerce cloud features and designs the configurations and customizations desired to meet the requirements.Employ the use of proofs-of-concept (spike solutions) to validate cost estimates and de-risk technical solution deliveryIdentifies all desired third-party software products and documents the dependencies between system elements and these packagesDesign solution for fault-tolerance with appropriate fail-over mechanisms to enable service continuity, gracefully degrade as necessary, and minimize service outagesPrepares time and cost estimates, identifies and mitigates project risks, plans the full project life cycle, and recommends approaches to improve time to marketDiagnose and resolve technical problems related to commerce implementation, lead a team in resolving priority issues

Required Skills:8 + Years Experience with Front End or Fullstack Technologies (React experience preferred)Previous experience as a consultant or developer in SFCC and related technologiesBuild a quality engineering culture (quality, security, performance, scalability, availability, etc.)Strong knowledge of designing Architecture Diagrams and Data flowsKnowledge of End-to-End Order Management lifecycleSolid experience in HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptSolid experience with RESTful Service Architecture, preferred technologies are AWS/EKS/Java/SpringHave strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skillsAs a senior member of our team, you'll need to:Thrive in an ambiguous environment, be resourceful, and make tradeoffs to deliver customer impactExhibit a bias for action, constantly looking for ways to improve outcomes and customer experienceEstablish strong working relationships across all levels and functions of the organizationBe results-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about building innovative customer experiencesYou'll stand out if...History of progression from Software Engineer up through senior software positionsSolid Front-End or Full-Stack development experienceExperience in fast-paced environmentsExperience leading teams or projects to deliver software solutionsFull-time store positions at GameStop are also eligible to participate in incentive programs, health benefits, paid time off, 401 (k), employee discount and a casual work environment.
