Design and implement advanced computational models for mRNA vaccine and therapeutic candidate identification and optimization.Leverage the latest machine learning research and computational biology to develop predictive models for mRNA characterization and hypothesis generation and to enhance preclinical and clinical mRNA vaccine research.Integrate experimental data with computational predictions to develop novel predictive algorithms with interactive learning approaches.Conduct sophisticated analyses of large-scale biological datasets to derive insights and decision making.Identify, curate, and integrate relevant datasets and tools from public and proprietary sources to enrich computational design projects.Contribute to the strategic direction of Digital Virology programs by leveraging data-driven insights to identify opportunities for innovation.Basic Qualifications:

PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience; or MS in one of these fields with at least 8 years of relevant experience in a fast-paced environment.Min 5 years in algorithm development, machine learning, and statistical modeling techniques.Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and implementing bioinformatics workflows, data analytics, and predictive modeling solutions.Industry experience with deep learning techniques, including CNNs, RNNs, autoencoders, and transformers/large language models.Industry experience with programming skills in R, Python, and experience with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.Ability to analyze complex problems and propose efficient, innovative solutions.Capable of working independently and effectively within a goal-driven, dynamic, and multifaceted team environment.Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience of developing predictive models in the healthcare industry.Knowledge in RNA biology and experience working in computational RNA design.Experience with RNA/protein folding; modeling RNA/protein structures and interactions.Proficient with agile software development process.
