Responsibilities

Collaborate with development teams to automate and streamline deployment pipelines.

Design and develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Python, Kubernetes, and Ansible.

Maintain and enhance CI/CD processes using GitLab, Jenkins, and other standard SecDevOps tools to ensure smooth code development, integration, and delivery.

Monitor and troubleshoot system performance, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization.

Ensure security best practices are integrated into the development lifecycle, including compliance with data protection regulations.

Contribute to the architecture and design of cloud-based (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) infrastructure, ensuring security and scalability best practices.

Research and implement new technologies and tools to drive continuous improvement in the software delivery process.

Promote a culture of knowledge sharing.

Document technical procedures, configurations, and the architecture of deployed solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, set priorities, and communicate progress and challenges.

QualificationsRequired

5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD; minimum 8 years in lieu of degree.

Knowledge of Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence.

Ability to use automation tools such as Python, PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible.

Excellent interpersonal skills to mentor and coach teammates.

Ability to collaboratively interact with customers including senior management, data scientists, and end users.

TS/SCI with poly.

Desired

Experience with orchestration and containerization tools such as K8s and Docker.

Experience with virtualization including virtual clusters for processing optimization.

Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB and Elasticsearch.

Experience with Splunk to enhance logging, monitoring, and analytic capabilities.

Experience with EC2, S3.

Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Target Salary Range$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
