As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector, Global Finance Team Last Mile Reporting team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.Integrate regulatory platforms with the firm's strategic data infrastructure and create seamless integration between applications.Building out and maintain application infrastructure and cloud on-boarding.Implement technology solutions in response to an evolving regulatory environment and to help meet the firm's regulatory commitments.Define and deliver complex regulatory changes end-to-end.Design and implement cloud architecture to fulfill strategic cloud migration programs.Drive innovation across the firm's corporate technology portfolio, increasing efficiencies through process automation and Agile application development with an emphasis on user experience and shorter development cycles.Create and implement solutions to advance the firm's initiative of Single Data Sourcing and Rationalization of platforms.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts, coupled with 3+ years hands-on experience.Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.Axiom Controller View application, including ASL language, and its application to US and Global regulatory practices.Proficient in SQL and Data modeling.Experience in Unix scripting.Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD.Understanding of cloud computing concepts including Kubernetes.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Familiarity with Java coding.Experience in Python development.Understanding of scheduling tools.
