Data Modeler

Possess extensive experience with PL-SQL. Experience working with MS SQL Server, Oracle and other RDBMS and tools like SQL Navigator, TOAD. Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models. Create logical and physical data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy. Thorough understanding of data warehouse concepts. Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects. Maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models along with corresponding metadata. Sound knowledge of traditional as well as agile software development methodologies. Strong knowledge of systems and software development lifecycles; application integration techniques; and relational database design. Possess good understanding of database performance tuning techniques. Able to use explain plan, hints, access paths, etc. Hands-on experience in Unix shell scripting. Excellent skill in communicating orally and in writing with people. Additional Information
