The Data: Science & Engineering (D:SE) team at AWS Marketing is responsible for providing data-driven marketing technology solutions. The team owns the core ROI measurement, generative AI and Machine Learning, analytics and data pillars critical to AWS Marketing's success. We deliver the foundational data infrastructure powering all data products and services via our centralized data lake. We provide insights, tools, and methodologies to analyze performance and return on investment. Key tenets include impact-driven prioritization, favoring automation and self-service, relentless focus on data quality, and driving relevancy through AI/ML targeting and segmentation models. Our vision is to create an AI-powered, data-driven marketing technology ecosystem resulting in unparalleled efficiency, personalization, and measurable business impact.We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager- Tech (PMT) to lead the development and delivery of our data technology solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and implementing the necessary data infrastructure, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities to enable data-driven decision making and ROI optimization across AWS Marketing. Your key objectives will be to simplify our overall technology landscape, reduce operational complexity, and continue to support personalized, data-driven customer experiences. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define the product roadmap, oversee the implementation, and ensure a seamless delivery that aligns with our core tenets around impact-driven prioritization, automation, and data quality.The Sr. PMT will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of products with significant impact. They will own and define the product strategy, feature design, technology approach, and roadmap priorities. They influence the strategic direction for both business and technology across the engineering organization. Their work spans tactical execution to strategic vision and planning. They drive alignment across stakeholders, make trade-off decisions, mentor others, and perform PMT assessments. A Sr. PMT has a strong technical understanding to assess technology impacts, recognize complex designs, evaluate emerging technologies, and ensure solutions meet scalability and innovation needs.Our environment is fast-paced. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, endlessly curious, detail-oriented and highly organized. Strong communication skills (both oral and written) are critical.Key job responsibilities

You define product vision, strategy, and roadmap.Partner with Engineering, User Experience, Personalization, Product Marketing, and other teams to align on a vision and execute on it.You execute on the roadmap independently as a product owner, and through other Product Managers as needed.You collaborate with engineering and business intelligence to deliver results.You understand the technology behind what you build, and how it impacts the customer experience.You roll-up your sleeves and do your own deep dives into data and research.You help raise the bar on product management across the organization.About the team

The Data: Science and Engineering team builds measurement products, AI/ML models for targeting and segmentation, and self-service insights capabilities to drive better performance and strategic decisions in AWS Marketing globally. We are the central data and science organization, and we work with different teams in AWS Marketing to drive better measurement, improve data access and analytical self-service, deploy and test AI/ML-powered targeting models, and empower strategic decisions with business deep dives.Minimum Requirements

The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
