The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for provisioning, installation, configuring, operating, and maintaining the computer and network hardware, software, and related infrastructure. The IT Systems Administrator will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the IT Department. This individual will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational standards. This position will serve as advanced support for the company’s technical support center.Primary Duties:The IT Systems Administrator is accountable for assisting in the development of VMware hosts, Windows 2016, 2019 & 2022 servers, and Microsoft Office 365. Responsibilities on these systems include provisioning, operations and support, end-user training, maintenance and research, and development. Additional Information Technology related projects will be managed by this position.Responsible for systems provisioning including installing new, rebuilding existing, and providing routine maintenance for desktop computers, laptops, servers, and mobile devices. Configure hardware and peripherals. Manage information services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements. Experience with MDT preferred.Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware and software including server resources and VOIP telephone systems.Manage the LAN and WAN computer networks.Review system and application logs.Verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.Create, update, and delete user accounts as requested. Experience with Active Directory preferred.Apply Operating System patches and upgrades on a regular basis.Upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure and add new services as necessary. Microsoft WSUS preferred.Maintain the SAP Business One ERP software system and add-ons.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and technical/professional experience.Five years of successful performance in Information Technology or similar experience.Technical skills and proficiencies to include: Windows 10/11 Pro, Windows 2016/2019/2022, Microsoft Office 365.Experience or ability to quickly learn SAP Business One ERP software system and add-ons.Possess ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organization, and time-management skills.Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.Positive, energetic, creative personality with the experience and desire to get the job done.Be a team member’s advocate.
