Currently, we are partnered with a premier defense technology solutions provider in Maryland seeking a talented Network Engineer to join their high-performing agile team.
Job Summary:You'll architect and enhance mission-critical network infrastructure that supports national security operations. As part of an innovative team using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, you'll design and implement solutions that optimize network performance, ensure security compliance, and enable seamless communications across geographically dispersed systems.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:Lead the architecture and implementation of enterprise network enhancements that improve system reliability and performanceDevelop innovative solutions for expanding network capacity and streamlining operations across geographically dispersed locationsDrive the execution of security compliance initiatives, including vulnerability management and system security planningEngineer robust network configurations utilizing technologies from industry leaders like Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5 SystemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets evolving mission requirementsProvide strategic input on technology roadmaps and infrastructure modernization initiatives
Qualifications:You have experience designing and implementing enterprise-level network solutions using Cisco, Palo Alto, and F5 technologiesYou bring expertise in network security, including firewall configuration and vulnerability managementYou've demonstrated success in providing technical leadership and mentorship in complex environmentsYou possess an active TS/SCI with FSP clearanceYou have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)You're comfortable balancing independent work with team collaborationExperience with KG-175/KG255 configuration and VMware 7+ is valued but not required
