We offer home, auto and accident and health insurance, as well as other specialty niche insurance products, through a large network of independent insurance agents, as well as directly to consumers.Job DescriptionThe RMBC Underwriting Senior Associate evaluates, makes countrywide Individual Risk Management decisions across multiple lines of insurance. Responds to inquiries on the status of policy, risk eligibility and underwriting policies & procedures. Reviews underwriting decisions and suggests process improvements. Supports employee development by providing training to others.Key ResponsibilitiesResponds to all inquiries promptly, independently, and professionally through various digital technologies.Acts as a peer leader and role model for others.Reviews underwriting decisions to identify quality and process opportunities and communicates findings to the team.Works with leadership to provide training based on the needs of the team.Active participant in a collaborative, remote team environment.Partners with leadership in identifying, coordinating, and communicating training needs within team or other units.Evaluates and processes policies based on Individual Risk Management Policy within the established production requirements.Provides exceptional customer service by assisting agents, accurate decision making, and second level escalations.Education4 year Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)Experience0-2 years experience (Preferred)Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job does not have supervisory duties.Education & Experience (in lieu)In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.CompensationCompensation offered for this role is $19.23 - 28.49 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.At National General, great things happen when our people work together.
