Peraton is seeking an experienced

Senior

Systems Engineer (SETA)

to join our team of technical and business experts providing operational and mission support to a SI/SETA mission for a classified customer in McLean, Virginia.

In this role you will be responsible for supporting our clients, meet their mission goals and strategic objectives by providing high-quality Systems Engineering and technical leadership expertise for design, development, evaluation of end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their full development and operational life cycle. In addition, you will provide essential support to Project Management for risk identification and mitigation and keeping the project on schedule and within budget. Provide support for business development activities to help shape requirements and participate in system conceptual design and documentation of the design concepts.

Our unique team of technical and business disciplines provide operational support for Systems Engineering/Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations to multiple functional mission areas. The team is responsible for technical design, operations, and mission planning and business operations for the full life cycle of customer specific operations (from concept through development and installation/Operation and Maintenance (O&M)).

The

Senior

Systems Engineer (SETA)

will be responsible for the following but not limited to:

Develop, design and deploy RF systems, server performance, and network infrastructure to meet customer requirements.Translation of high-level product development strategies into system requirements/specifications and works with other engineering disciplines to develop lower-level detailed implementation requirements.Support the writing and management of system requirements based on the customer's description and Concept of Operations (CONOP).Evaluate and derive test plans and procedures that accurately trace to system requirements for end-to-end system testabilityEnsures that system requirements are traceable to client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.Establishes and coordinates development of standards, practices, and procedures as related to the overall product development.Develop and document test strategies for the evaluation of systems.Ensure requirements are verifiable and can be accurately traced to test procedures.Provide support to client programmatic and technical forums.Assisting COTRs and INFOSEC engineering teams develop system accreditation documentation.Attend relevant component readiness reviews and testing milestones and provide recommendations to the government Project Manager.Assist in the review and assessment of contractor deliverables and provide an independent assessment.**This role requires the candidate to perform duties on-site Mon-Fri.**

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

A current/valid TS/SCI with relevant polygraph is required.Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or other related technical discipline and 12 years relevant experience; master's degree and 10 years of relevant experience; PhD and seven (7) years of relevant experience.Experience in complex, multi-segmented system development, integration, and test of projects including:

A least five (5) years or more as lead systems engineer.A least five (5) years or more of specialized, relevant technical experience in the general areas of systems engineering, system development and verification, hardware and software development.

Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team in pursuit organizational goals.Demonstrated expertise in writing, and ability to brief complex technical information to non-experts.Experience working with inter-agency partners on technical intelligence issues and R&D activities.Experience with end-to-end integration and test methods including identification and mitigation of programmatic and technical risk.Experience with testing and evaluation.Experience with preparation and maintenance of project documentation, cost and master schedules.Program management, or equivalent leadership experience.Desired Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in engineering, science, or other related technical disciplines.Prior experience as a SETA.Ability to work within and across multi-discipline teams to ensure interfaces are thoroughly defined, properly designed, and correctly implementedFamiliarity with IC organizations and experience working across multiple organizations within the IC.Experience in mission operation centers, command and control, and digital communications is a plus.Familiarity with Customer finance and acquisition systems and process.Salary Range Estimates:

Target Salary Range
