Peraton is seeking a skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Engineer to assist in the design, implementation, and maintaining of security measures that protect our national security systems and networks from cyber threats. Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are followed throughout the software development lifecycle you will be the key player in identifying, addressing, and mitigating security risks.Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:Active TS/SCIMinimum of Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.At least one of the following certifications:
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP).
Minimum 8 years of total relevant experience in cybersecurity engineering, security operations or related fields.Desired Qualifications:Previous experience working directly with or as a Government Acquisition Professional.Previous experience with DEVSECOPS practices and integrating cybersecurity into CI/CD pipelines.Experience in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP) and securing cloud-based environmentsPeraton Overview
