Job SummaryThe Microsoft Dynamics 365 Developer is responsible for the full project life cycle of solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 online platform. The Developer will coordinate with Information Technology staff and End Users on requested Microsoft Dynamics 365 customizations and will review the technical requirements to design, test, implement, and maintain a solution.
This position is required to report to the SHI Austin, TX or SHI Somerset, NJ office location as determined by SHI management.
ResponsibilitiesInclude, but are not limited to:
Collaborate with Information Technology staff and End Users on business requirements and technical requirements to identify, evaluate, and develop effective and efficient solutions.
Analyze, design, build, and deploy solutions and console apps consisting of:
Create, update, and maintain a custom plugin.
Customize built-in entities.
Build Dynamics add-ins and integrations using .NET.
Create and customize Dynamics forms.
Create and maintain business process flows and workflows.
Monitor quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance.
Utilizing Dynamics APIs.
Documentation.
Troubleshoot and bug-fix existing solutions.
Strict adherence to company policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of software development engineering, with a focus on D365 FnO.
One or more Dynamics 365 CE certifications (Sales Preferred).
Working knowledge in Azure DevOps or JIRA experience.
Required Skills
Excellence in software engineering practices, coding, and solid foundation in data structures and algorithms with strong testing, debugging, and analytical skills.
Proven ability to plan, schedule, and deliver quality software.
Strong client interaction skills.
Working independently and in teams.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in troubleshooting and driving technical investigations.
Solid communication and cross-discipline collaboration skills.
Hands-on experience in C# & .NET customizations with Dynamics 365.
Experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Ability to learn new concepts and processes quickly.
Excellent troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, REST, & SQL Server.
3+ years hands-on experience in D365 CE with deep understanding and familiarity of Sales & Customer Service modules.
Unique Requirements
Travel to approved conferences or events as needed, up to 10%.
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $70,000 - $140,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
