Amentum is seeking a dynamic and agile

Security Manager

to support the United States Space Forces Indo-Pacific Command (USSPACEFOR-INDOPAC) at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, HI.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with key security systems, including DISS, Scattered Castles, and e-Quip.

Essential Responsibilities:

Initiate security background investigations and processing for different security clearance types/levels (T3, T3R; T5, T5Rs) utilizing the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-Qips) through DISS and using the Fillable SF86 version for certain Agencies.

Initiate processing actions for positions requiring Suitability requirements (National Agency Check (NAC), Tier 1; Background Investigation (BI), Moderate Risk Background Investigation (MBI), High Risk Background Investigation, Moderate Risk Positions of Trust (MRPTs), Position of Public Trust). Process Common Access Cards, Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12).

Coordinate with OPM regarding personnel investigations for completion of clearance processing.

Conduct quality control review of investigation packages (Questionnaire for National Security Positions SF86, 85, 85P’s, etc.) to ensure they are complete and accurate prior to submittal.

Process and submit SF4311 for clearance actions.

Initiate, process and submit Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Packages and Special Access Program (SAP) Packages.

Conduct clearance checks utilizing DISS and Scattered Castles.

Review Security Pre-Screen Forms as applicable.

Familiarity with PART 147 – Adjudicative Guidelines for Determining Eligibility for Access to Classified Information under TITLE 32 - National Defense. Subtitle A - Department of Defense.

Develop and implement security strategies and manage personnel and physical security programs.

Create and maintain security policies and procedures, controlling security programs and coordinating staff requirements.

Process visitor requests, badge requests, account requests, and other forms and documents to ensure secure access to facilities and information for unit personnel and those supporting unit mission.

Support training on security policies and procedures.

Support security incident reporting and investigations.

Minimum Requirements:

Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Familiarity of DISS and experience processing e-QIP.

High School Degree or GED with 5-9 years of DoD Security experience.

Current certifications or training to gain access to secure installations and access security-related systems (DISS, Scattered Castles, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.

Previous experience in a similar role within the Air Force/Space Force or Combatant Command HQ.

10 years of DoD Security experience.

Current CI Polygraph.

The salary range for this position is $135K to $165K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
