Tyto Athene is searching for a Senior Digital Engineering Strategy Architect to join our team and provide technical leadership throughout the business development lifecycle resulting in highly rated (purple/blue) proposal responses. The Tyto Senior Digital Engineering Strategy Architect provides technical direction and expertise in various areas, including building future mission data-centric solutions, high-performance networked systems on premise and in the cloud, and develop systems engineering-related documentation to include operational concept, requirements, specifications, interface control documents, and validation & verification plans. The Senior Digital Engineering Strategy Architect leverages their knowledge of enterprise architecture in conjunction with their knowledge of systems engineering, systems integration, systems standards, process engineering, and systems design, to support the US federal government to create compelling solutions. The Senior Digital Engineering Solution Architect will create innovative solutions that meet the requirements of procurement documents, are cost effective, differentiated, and align to unique perspectives of customer pain points in a manner to help Tyto's success in winning new business. The Senior Digital Engineering Strategy Architect will engage early in new business pursuits and drive solutions strategies between the capture and proposal preparation phases.
Responsibilities:The successful candidate will leverage their significant experience in digital engineering and modernization to lead the establishment and implementation of our technical strategy throughout all phases of the procurement lifecycle for larger digital engineering opportunities in Tyto's business development pipeline.As a member of the Chief Technology Office (CTO) Solutions Team, work directly with Business Development (BD), Capture Managers, Technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Unit (BU) leadership, proposal team, and pricing on solution development and win strategy by simultaneously supporting business development call plans and driving the creation of the appropriate work products throughout Tyto's business development lifecycle.Collaborates across the CTO and Ops teams to codify, underpin with tooling and comprehensive approach to systems engineering as underpinned with Digital Engineering tooling and integrated with CI/CD and test automation tooling. The Digital Engineer will participate as a major contributor in curating Tyto's corporate system engineering approach and inherent methodologies.Support Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) activities to identify program requirements and relationships, and manage the execution of systems engineering processes, including interfaces, key performance parameters, and operations concepts.Oversee definition and documentation of enterprise level policies, procedures, guidance, and best practices regarding use of modeling languages and frameworks.Manage teams developing an organized repeatable approach, methodology, language, and style that enables elements usage with a model and sharing between model development projects.Develop operational concepts, requirements, and architectural designs; evolve systems architectures, conduct and analyze requirements flow down, propose verification methodologies.Develop modeling methods driven by Digital Engineering and Systems Engineering objectives, including library of standardized and frequently used patterns.Develop a compelling, innovative, and responsive solution to customer needs and requirements that are consistently evaluated as superior/excellent.Collaborates with Capture Leadership and leads teams of SMEs and other SAs in defining, building and representing Tyto solutions.Document the solution, developing Concept of Operations (CONOPs), and storyboard development for a solution to proposal transition.Volume leads and owns the document out the door, developing the solution with the team and crafting the response (writing text, conceptualizing graphics).Effectively leverages Tyto past performances, unique perspectives, and capabilities around MBSE, digital engineering, ubiquitous connectivity/connected mission solutions to strengthen the quality and scorability of our proposal responses.Collaborates with our capabilities team to ensure the appropriate product management of Tyto capabilities around digital modernization and the connected mission.Work with price to win teams to apply design to cost principles to assure cost effectiveness in our proposal responses.Review proposal artifacts and ensure the proposal reflects the approved solution.
Required:Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent, relevant experience will be considered.ANSI/EIA 632A Process for engineering a system.INCOSE SE handbook and related processes.Working knowledge of systems engineering documentation to include concepts of operations, interface control documents, and verification and test.Ability to provide technical and programmatic direction on the development, integration, and use of model-based engineering and model-based systems engineering models.Proficient understanding of fundamental model development and its application to architecture or system design.Engineering knowledge in the creation of architectural representations.Strong oral, written, communication and organizational skills.Demonstrated experience with System Modeling Language (SysML) and architecture frameworks such as Zachman Frameworks, Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) and Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DODAF).Familiarity with MBSE/Enterprise Architecture tools such as CAMEO or Rhapsody.Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.3+ years' experience with designing infrastructure, platform, networks and applications to in compliance with DoD and SRG security requirements.5+ years as a lead solutions architect working engineering proposal responses for a federal systems integrator, managed service provider or ISV/cloud provider, with an overall win rate greater than 30% by TCV.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively across functional groups to optimize product & service offerings.Understands the many aspects of United States Government/Department of Defense programs, including but not limited to program and project management, staffing, engineering, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), quality, logistics, technology, and regulations.Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Desired:7+ years of experience supporting proposal solution development in a government contracting environment for multi-teammate, solutions-based proposals.INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional certification ASEP, CSEP or ESEP.Associate level certification with Google, Azure or AWS cloud platforms.Active SECRET security clearance preferred or be able to secure DoD Security clearance.
